Blessed José Sanchez del Rio

Friends, today is the feast of Blessed José Sanchez del Rio. He was tortured and killed on this day in 1913 because he would not deny his Catholic faith. He was 15 years old. Before he was shot, Blessed José wrote his mother: “To die for God gives me joy. I send greetings to my brothers and ask them to always follow the smallest wish of God.”

Blessed José, help us to follow Jesus and do everything for God!
